Berlengas Fleabane
Pulicaria microcephala · Pulicária-das-berlengas
Endemic
A small, much-branched plant endemic to the Berlengas, it evolved in isolation and grows nowhere else. It bears little yellow flowers resembling those of the sea marigold, and flowers from March to July. Introduced rabbits graze it, one of the pressures on this fragile island endemic.
