Les Îles
Farilhões
The Farilhões and Forcadas are rock stacks with steep vertical cliffs and pointed summits, about 6.5 km north-north-west of Berlenga. Unlike Berlenga and the Estelas, they are metamorphic, the erosion-resistant peaks of a drowned mountain, intensely folded and carrying high-pressure minerals that point to a Neoproterozoic origin.
